Due to the modern nuclear family concept, population density, limited space and lack of waste management schemes, drinking water sources, including well water, are under threat of pollution. Increased presence of coliform bacteria in water bodies can lead to fatal diseases. There is no doubt that septic tanks can clean drinking water and prevent the spread of coliform bacteria.
In this context that Richu's Hollow Brick Industry readymade septic tanks are being manufactured and distributed all over Kerala under the name "Sebjo" from Arpookkara in compliance with the standards of the Health and Hygiene Mission. The operation of sebjo concrete septic tanks during the last two floods has been a relief to hundreds of customers.
Space constraints are not an issue as the tank can be placed in the yard or car porch. Flood-resistant construction, high quality and finishing are the only spectiality of Sebjo. Concrete products are available from Sebjo, including hollow bricks, solid bricks, house lifting bricks, ready-made graves and ring compost, etc.
Machine-made concrete septic tanks are molded in a single mould and are completely leak-free and high-strength. Sebjo maintains strict quality in tank construction using precise ratios of raw materials such as 20 mm metal, M sand, 53 grade OPC cement, G.I wire and leak proof chemicals.
